The Global Dialogue on Trade mobilises a range of multilateral organisations and agencies from around the world to actively engage in global consultations.

WTO

These are challenging times for trade. Escalating tensions between major economies risk undermining the global economic recovery and the multilateral trading system itself. So we can’t just cross our arms. We need everybody who believes in the system as a force for good to speak up. This is particularly crucial in the context of the debate about the future of the WTO and how it could potentially be strengthened and improved to deal with emerging challenges. The voice of the private sector should be heard in that conversation. We warmly welcome this initiative.”

EBRD

The EBRD very much welcomes the Global Dialogue on Trade. Promoting economic integration across regional and global markets is one of the key qualities at the core of the EBRD’s mandate to build sustainable market economies, and global trade has been an important driver of economic growth for the economies in our regions. The EBRD will continue to supports its clients’ participation in global trade, and will encourage its networks to contribute to this important discussion. Individual companies may only be small wheels in the machinery of global trade but each of them can help deliver novel solutions to the continuing barriers to world commerce.”
