The high-level conference is organized around a series of thematically-focused and geographically centred sessions. The 2019 Global Review edition will focus on the issues of economic diversification and empowerment.
The Global Review attracts a similar number of participants to the Public Forum. One important difference with the Public Forum is the high number of Heads of Organizations and Ministers of Trade from developing countries who participate at the Global Review.
Past editions of the conference have attracted the UN Secretary General, President of the World Bank, heads of regional development banks and ministers from across Africa, Asia and Latin America. A particular focus is always given to least developed countries.
